Shortly before 10 am this morning, a helicopter carrying Kobe Bryant and 8 other passengers crashed into a hillside in Calabasa, CA. According to The Los Angeles Times, the helicopter burst into flames upon impact. Foggy conditions were reported at the time of the crash, and the investigation is still ongoing.

According to TMZ, Kobe’s daughter Gianna Maria Onore was on board the helicopter, as well. The father-daughter duo were traveling to Thousand Oaks for basketball practice at the Mamba Academy.
During a press conference covered by WTHR-13, Los Angeles Sheriff Alex Villanueva says no information on the other victims will be released until their families have been notified.
