Local Healthcare Worker Asks Kids for Artwork to Give to Quarantined Elderly

by Ashley Lopez

Would you like to win a free mini photoshoot just for spreading kindness? Well, here is your chance.

Casey Dooley is reaching out to parents at home with their kids right now, who might need something to keep them busy. Dooley is hoping to deliver hand-made items to our local hospice and home-care residents. It can be coloring pictures, writing letters, making cards, etc. — just something to help spread joy to our elderly and medically fragile community members.

Casey Dooley is a photographer and a registered nurse who works for Elara Caring, ensuring patients get the quality Hospice & Homecare care they deserve.

In addition to being a nice gesture for our older population, whichever family provides the most items to hand out will receive a FREE photography mini family session with Casey Marie Photography.

Dooley says,

The majority of my accounts are on lockdown…this means the residents are unable to have visitors and see their families… We are coloring pictures, postcards and writing letters…if you would be interested in helping, have them create whatever makes their little hearts happy and I will be delivering them to patients to brighten up their days during this tough time away from those they love.

Dooley will be accepting these through April 3rd. Parents can contact Dooley to arrange a way to get them to her.

You can email her at cdooley@elara.com or message her on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/casey.mccreary.7.
