Between the dates of December 25, 2016 and September 5, 2018, Arthur M. Wilson (39), who lives at 1622 W Euclid in Marion, allegedly molested and raped two young children, both of which were close family members. He also reportedly threatened a third young member of his family.
Both of Wilson’s young victims described in detail how they were abused, all of which was included in court documents. However, here at Channel 27 News, we have decided not to disclose those details out of respect for both the victims and the family.
Thankfully, the victims were able to report this abuse to a doctor at Marion Pediatrics, as well as other adults in their lives, and they are all receiving trauma counseling and support.
According to a press release from the Marion Police department, officers were called out to Wilson’s residence on Tuesday, February 4th, for a some sort of disturbance.
Thanks to a tip, police were made aware of the fact that Arthur Wilson had outstanding warrants for his arrest, and they were able to obtain a search warrant for the home. Upon searching the home, they found Wilson hiding in the attic, and police were then able to take him into custody.
Arthur Wilson now faces the following charges:
- 7 Counts of Child Molesting (Level 1 Felonies)
- 2 Counts of Incest (Level 4 Felonies)
- Intimidation (Class A Misdemeanor)
- Resisting Law Enforcement (Class A Misdemeanor)
- Possession of Paraphernalia (Class A Misdemeanor)
Two other residents were also found inside the Euclid Avenue home: Marcus Clark (23) and Carmella McKee (45). Both were charged with Assisting a Criminal (Level 5 Felony), and neither one has been cooperative with police.
