Marion Police Department Press Release: Recent Drug Seizure and Arrests

On September 18, 2020, 3rd Shift Patrol Officer Mark Bonneau initiated a traffic stop near 9th and Nebraska St. Marion.  The traffic stop was for a traffic infraction.  Officer Bonneau approached the vehicle and came in contact with Macinzie Orr, 21 of Jonesboro.  The passenger was Jacob Hagerty-Ozse, 24 of Grants Pass, Oregon.  Bonneau from his training and experience smelled the odor of Marijuana coming from the inside the vehicle. 

A search of the vehicle produced approximately 2 lbs of Marijuana, THC wax, Cash, Scales and baggies all consistent with Dealing Marijuana.  The cash totaled $10,606.00.

Both were transported to the Grant County Jail for the following charges:

Macinzie Orr 21, of Jonesboro, Indiana:

  • Dealing Marijuana over 30 grams, Level 6 felony
  • Visiting a Common Nuisance, Level 6 felony
  • Possession of Marijuana with prior conviction, Class B Misdemeanor

Jacob Hagerty–Ozse 24, of Grants Pass, Oregon:

  • Dealing Marijuana over 30 grams, Level 6 felony
  • Visiting a Common Nuisance, Level 6 felony
  • Possession of Marijuana with prior conviction, Class B Misdemeanor
